Pricing

The cost of a specification depends mainly on the project's complexity, the depth of the system's functionality and the scope of documentation required. Our hourly rate is HUF 30,000 + VAT, which covers requirements analysis, a detailed description of the functionality, wireframes and documenting the technical specification. The specification for an average mobile app usually takes 30–50 hours. The finished document becomes the basis for an accurate development quote and schedule.

We bill our design services at HUF 30,000 + VAT per hour. The UI/UX design of a simpler mobile app (8–15 screens) takes about 20–35 hours, while a more complex, multi-platform design can take 50–80 hours. The price includes a moodboard, the design concept, an interactive prototype in Figma and 2 rounds of revisions. Premium branding, a brand book or custom illustrations are available by separate agreement.

Our hosting services are billed monthly; the exact amount depends on server resource needs and traffic. The base package includes server operation, an SSL certificate, daily backups, a 99.7% uptime guarantee and basic monitoring. We use VPS and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS), so costs adjust flexibly to the app's actual usage. For new apps, you can typically expect HUF 20,000–70,000 per month, but for higher-traffic or more complex apps, this can increase significantly.

Transparency is a core value for us: our quotes list every cost in detail, with no hidden fees. Costs that aren't in the quote but may come up include app store developer accounts (creating Apple and Google accounts), fees for third-party APIs and services (e.g., maps, push notifications, SMS gateways) and new features not included in the specification. We agree on all of these in advance, so there won't be any surprises.

Some features rely on third-party APIs that have their own pricing. Common examples: Google Maps API (for map features), Firebase or OneSignal (for push notifications), Stripe or SimplePay (for payments) and Twilio (for SMS). These are usually usage-based and typically start at a few thousand forints per month for lower-traffic apps. During the specification, we list all required external services and their estimated costs, so you get a complete picture of expected expenses. With AWS, additional costs may arise on top of the base hosting fee as server resource needs grow, as well as for a dedicated systems engineer who monitors and maintains the service.
